J. R. Tucker HIgh School's In-Person or Virtual Parent/Teacher Conferences; Wed, Oct 9th from 4:30 - 7:30 PM;

J. R. Tucker High School’s Parent Visitation will be held on the following evening:

  • Wednesday, October 9th from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

    Families can schedule conferences through Microsoft Bookings. Families may choose to schedule in-person or virtual conferences via Teams.

    You may sign up for conferences from 
    Monday 9/23 until 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9th.
    If you select an in-person meeting you can find your teacher’s meeting location here -

    Virtual conferences will use Microsoft Teams and a link will automatically be created and emailed to you when you sign up for a VIRTUAL conference.

  • You do not need the Teams application for virtual conferences. If given the choice, choose “Open in browser”


    For both in-person and virtual conferences, reminders will automatically be sent to your email 3 days prior and 1 day prior to your conference time. 

Directions:

  • On the J. R. Tucker High School booking page http://bit.ly/jrtconferences, teachers have been divided into groups, either IN-PERSON or VIRTUAL and with LAST NAME from A-J and K-Z.

  • At the top, click to select the type of conference you prefer, IN-PERSON or VIRTUAL conference with a teacher.

  • On the left, click the conference date – October 9th. This should be the only available date with a blue circle.

  • On the right, under “Select Staff”, you MUST change the drop-down from “Anyone” by scrolling until you find and click on the Teacher’s name.  

    • Times that the teacher still has available will show. If they are already booked, that time will be missing from the list of times.

    • If the teacher is unavailable, please email the teacher directly to schedule an alternate time.

  • Choose the time of the 10-minute appointment that you desire. You will only see appointment slots that are still available.

  • Scroll down and type your Name and your email address (you will receive email reminders) and your phone number (if you would like a text reminder)

  • At the bottom, type your Student’s Name- this is important so that teachers are prepared to discuss your student.

  • Press the “Book” button

Repeat this process for each teacher with whom you would like to schedule a conference.

You will receive a confirmation email for each parent-teacher conference. SAVE the email(s). There will be a link at the bottom to “Change your appointment”, where you can reschedule or cancel.

If you choose a VIRTUAL conference, there will be a link to “Join your appointment” in an email that you will receive after booking. If you signed up for multiple virtual conferences, each conference will have a separate confirmation email with a unique link. Shortly before your conference appointment time, click on the link to begin your virtual meeting. At the appointed time, the teacher will join the virtual meeting.
